  Tend to agree with Sumo Bear, our experience (including 'laid back Bob') was not equal to earlier reviewers. Facilities are extremely rustic and becoming more rustic by the week due to lack of maintenance. Would probably be a good place to camp ('cause then you're relying on your own level of cleanliness, cooking gear, refrigeration etc rather than theirs) but as to why you would choose that spot when there are so many immaculate/beautiful national park and/or free council (dog friendly and riverside) camping spots all around is the big question. There is a lot more wildlife in other nearby camping spots and no introduced pests such as Guinea Fowl and deer.

  Stayed here for a weekend while attending a party nearby. Warm and clean rooms for a very reasonable price. And the added bonus of being able to have a fire outside the cabin which the kids loved.
