  Nice camping spot and easy to get to. Nice big grassy area with fire pits. The toilets are quite stinky but it may just have been a very busy time when we went. Since it is more of an open grass area, it is very hot in summer. You will find yourself spending time in the creeks around which is not bad however, if you just want to hang around camp in the middle of the day, it will be very hot. Lots of 4wd track to explore and Kenilworth town is quite near if you need any supplies.

  Tend to agree with Sumo Bear, our experience (including 'laid back Bob') was not equal to earlier reviewers. Facilities are extremely rustic and becoming more rustic by the week due to lack of maintenance. Would probably be a good place to camp ('cause then you're relying on your own level of cleanliness, cooking gear, refrigeration etc rather than theirs) but as to why you would choose that spot when there are so many immaculate/beautiful national park and/or free council (dog friendly and riverside) camping spots all around is the big question. There is a lot more wildlife in other nearby camping spots and no introduced pests such as Guinea Fowl and deer.
